I did a lot of research on these products before deciding on the RolliTech model based on the price and other customer reviews. I've used it 3 times and I can already say it's worth the price, at least for me. I have a Chihuahua mix and I vacuum every time I get home from work to collect the dog hair. Also, I have these pesky trees that grow on my doorstep and drop tiny star shaped seed pods scattered all over the place. I absolutely hate her and follow her around the house all the time. It's like a losing battle. Until I got RolliTech! I installed it in the morning before I went to work and when I get home my floors look clean and debris free. Last night the bot couldn't find the charger in the kitchen and unfortunately ended up in the corner looking like a confused battery. It wasn't my fault, I just put it back on the charger ;0) The bin is easy to remove and also easy to empty and clean. After the bot worked until the battery died, the bin was practically filled not only with dog hair and tree seeds, but also with very fine dust and dander. This impressed me because it suggests that the suction power is quite good for such a small device. The real bot moved from my hardwood floor to a low-pile carpet with no problem. However, he couldn't get over the thin carpets on the kitchen floor. I don't think they have enough weight to stay in place when the bot tries to roll them over. You slide with the bot, he confuses, then turns and turns away. My decision? I ended up shaking out the rugs in the middle of the kitchen floor, hanging them over the back of a bar stool and letting the bot pick up the trash. Not ideal, but not the end of the world! For the price, removing those pesky seed pods, and the slight fun of seeing it twirling around my living room, I give it 5 stars.
