In general, the main part of the balaclava is comfortable and warm, and the inside is very soft. 10 out of 10 would buy again. The construction and materials are quite solid and I haven't noticed any flaws so far. It really helps on my bike rides when the temperatures are around freezing in the morning. However, the part covering the face is slightly missing. It has a shaped nose slit so you can breathe out without your glasses/glasses fogging up. However, it is not large enough for this task. If you wear a noseband that is low enough to let air through the opening, it will smack your nose against your face. If you wear it where it feels most comfortable on your nose, the bottom edge of the opening cuts into the septum, which is not only uncomfortable but also forces exhalation through your nose to force air through the mask and into your goggles bear to push. . I'll probably try trimming it a bit and see if I can get a better fit. Worst case I will end up with a bare upper lip but I still have a mustache so I have natural isolation.
