Great chess table for the money

Overall a decent product and hard to find better value for money. Looks great, assembly is relatively easy. The only thing missing is the quality/durability of the plating which flakes off easily. It's hard to argue about the price. Appearance (5.0/5.0): A great looking chess table that looks like an expensive piece of furniture. The 2" x 2" squares are slightly smaller than the standard tournament set (2.25" to 2.5"), so the largest sized chess pieces are 3.25" king pieces (equivalent to a 1.5" to 1.6 inch wide base). Quality (3.5/5.0): The cherry wood finish chipped slightly, revealing the light wood underneath. It is very easy to break off the fairing. Mine arrived with a few chips on the base and corners of the playing surface. It's easy enough to cover the shavings with a wooden furniture handle. Easy Assembly (4.0/5.0): The table consists of four main parts: top playing surface, square mounting block, table leg/stem and base. The base is easily attached to the shaft with 4 threaded bolts with pre-drilled holes. The table leg attaches to the pre-drilled square mounting block with 4 wood screws, as does the mounting block to the top surface. Unfortunately there is no template or markings on the underside of the table or on the top of the table leg so you will need to measure and measure again to make sure you are centred. Not a big deal, but a round base paired with a square block makes assembly even easier.
