I received the item almost a month ago and I am VERY happy with my purchase. I have a very thick mattress with a pillow attached and an extra duvet over it. I've never had a problem with the sheets not fitting or popping out. They stay in place, which is always a problem with sheets. I've washed them 3 times now and I can guarantee they get softer and softer with every wash. The sheets are VERY scratchy when you first take them out of the box, but after washing they immediately soften (and softer and softer the more you wash). I have a very large dog who loves to run and jump on my bed and I haven't had any problems with holes or spools. I am so happy with these sheets and will buy another pair. Highly recommend, especially if (like me) you prefer to sleep on sheets.
