I think this would make the perfect gift for anyone learning to do makeup. It has everything you need. There were many different eyeshadow colors to choose from - matte and shimmery. There were different blushes and lipsticks to try. But as an adult, I didn't care. The eyeshadow colors I chose required a lot of product to achieve the desired effect. I would have liked a lighter shade of eyeshadow for my teen, but I like it a little lighter. I've tried the darkest blushes and while they were very shiny, they didn't add much color.
