The massager provides firm massage of shiatsu neck and vibration massage of body. It has multiple settings and the neck and body controls offer a variety of heating options! I was able to use it without instructions, but when I needed more detail about the options in the settings, the manual provided just the right amount of detail. The body massage is light and pleasant. You can choose different massage zones and the timer will turn them off after the set time. The neck massage can go in one direction or in different directions. In the maximum setting, it penetrates really deep into the tissues of the neck. I could make him work all day. The only thing I would like to change is that the neck massage could be controlled from a hand control. The neck massager is meant to be operated from the pillow, which means you have to sit down and make adjustments, and then lie back down. Anyway, it's definitely not a deal breaker because I actually got an amazing massage. Finally, the mat comes with a bag big enough to hold everything, making everything very easy to store. There are straps to attach the mat to a chair, or you can place it on your bed or floor for maximum comfort!
