This cable is fine. It works like an E-TTL flash sync cable for Canon cameras, but is NOT as long as advertised. Although you can pull the coiled cord a little, it's less than 10 meters long. I don't even use this cable anymore because I'm so concerned about getting just a little bit off my light tripod and causing the short coil to pull the flash and knock the tripod over. The hot shoe adapter is also not well designed. Canon flashes do not latch properly, increasing the risk of the flash falling off the stand. While I know it's a lot cheaper than my own TTL cable, I still find it expensive. I don't use this product at all. more. I've switched to cheap third party transmitters and receivers (which also support E-TTL!) and have had no problem syncing multiple flashes together. And because they're wireless, you don't have to worry about walking a few feet from the stand or someone tripping over the cable and dropping the flash on the floor.
