Review on πŸ”Š Rechargeable & Solar Powered Dual Sub Woofer Wireless Bluetooth Sound System - Rugged Rukus Xtreme+ by Michael Burdette

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality speakers and panel good despite small size hmm lithium

I have this for sale in today's promotion hoping to solve my patio noise problem. We live near a major freeway and there is always traffic noise on our patio. I love listening to baseball games outside, but my Nexus 5's speakers can't handle the noise. This device does the job perfectly. Music is fine too, but don't expect to hear low frequencies. The speakers have good clarity and don't get muddy at higher volumes. I was initially confused by the lack of a switch on the top row of buttons. The power button is hidden under the gasket. The bluetooth implementation is weird. Unlike other Bluetooth devices, when I connect my Nexus 5, the initial volume is very low or zero, also the volume controls on the device are not connected to the phone, you may need to adjust the volume on both this device and yours Customize Bluetooth Source Device . It's just a quirk, but it's enough to make it less than perfect. We already have 80 solar panels and I recognize the quality of this panel. I've seen it generate power while being 3ft from a window indoors and I can power my phone and this device at the same time. Speakers are inevitably small because the subject is small. Don't expect heavy bass, it just isn't big enough. It handles the human voice very well with good clarity, no resonance and no rasping. The volume is enough to hear clearly in very noisy environments. I put it in the sunlight on a nice day and then bring it inside in the late afternoon. Even when I'm sitting in the shade with this device in the middle of the day, it continues to generate energy. This is truly a crystalline panel, as opposed to the low quality amorphous panels you see on solar powered patios. Overall I'm glad I bought it because using it won't reduce the energy we put into the grid. It's of good quality, I enjoy using it and meets the minimum geek standards.
