I'm a contractor and have spent YEARS looking for a "well built, attractive, non 08/15 or commercial looking" doorstop. Everything I found or bought turned out to be junk or mediocre in appearance. Imagine my surprise when I went to my parents' house to see their renovation. Here it is, THE MOST AMAZING DOOR HOLDER I'VE EVER SEEN, in her living room for French doors! . The look and function of this doorstop was exactly what I was looking for! That's why I recommend this doorstop: 1-IT IS VERY ATTRACTIVE and doesn't look like something from elementary school.2-The simplicity of the design makes it impossible. incorrectly set. ie there is no flat surface to hit the door evenly 3- Installation is very easy 4- after having my doors knocked on it personally in my home with a teenage boy for weeks, NO DENT OR RUBBER TRANSFER ON MY DOORS! my personal home test that I require of all new items before recommending them or using them in my customers' homes. The bottom screw is hidden in the base plate and is closed after the plug is screwed to the mounting plate. The round shape with a round rubber bumper throughout makes it impossible to misfit compared to other floor doorstops which typically have a 'flat' side to allow the door to be hit by a visible single screw Appearance 2 - Very attractive, Sleek design means your doorstop won't look out of place in your home. I don't know why it took anyone so long to create this article, but I'm thrilled they made it! Compared to the larger hardware stores, most are generic, domed and very commercial looking. 3- Your threshold will no longer go unnoticed! The guest will actually comment on how attractive this unusual item is. I KNOW this first hand because it has happened several times in my house and with my parents. ! I cannot say good enough about this little item. but I can say that YOU WILL BE SATISFIED WITH YOUR PURCHASE.
