    Will damage your doors

    That's ok, accept the parts that should be rubber. The bumper and the panel that absorbs the force when the door is opened are made of hard plastic. They will damage your door and woodwork.

    Simple and easy solution, the best furniture hardware

    Simple and easy installation. Without drilling the wooden frame. The product does what it should. Excellent value for money and quality. Simple solution. I bought these because I was adding a tall cabinet to a crowded bathroom. It is necessary so that the door does not bump when opening. It was an easy decision. installation 5 min. Left the door closed while I used a rubber mallet to insert and remove the door pins. Very easy for a single mother. 5 stars from me and Def will buy again

    Easy to install: office furniture and lighting

    Works great! I was expecting the pin to get stuck on the top hinge as the doors have been there for over 30 years. However, they popped out when I tapped them lightly with one tap from below. I had to realign the top hinge before inserting the stopper. This is my first experience with this type of doorstop and I like it better than the spring type that is installed on the baseboard. worth your money. The white color goes well with the cream door and trim.

    Didn't work with our front door

    Due to the paintwork around the door this product was not suitable for our application. It's easy enough to install (if your pins are in good condition, not painted over etc) but it's too short/close to the door frame to work properly. I would recommend measuring the rotation of your door at the hinge before ordering. Although it looked great in theory, we had to send it back and used a standard doorstop (attached to the baseboard) instead.

    Hinge Pin Door Stop - Easy Upgrade

    Similar to the standard door stops I have recently purchased and installed, both rubber bumpers on this item are too hard and 1) can damage (or strip paint) the finish and 2) When the door hits the bumper or the panel hits the frame, you will hear a "pop". Easy repair, I had small felt pads, I placed one on either side of the hinge stop and now when the door hits the stop it's quiet and there's less chance of damaging the door panel or frame.

    Nylon Bushing Too Small

    Doorstops come with a white nylon bushing that inserts into one end of the hinge hole. The inner diameter of this bushing is smaller than the standard 1/4" trunnion. Had to throw them away, although the stops would actually work better (more time quieter) if the bushings could be used. I recommend the following: 1. The description of the item should be modified to accommodate the socket ID (hence I would not purchase this item) and/or 2. Enlarge the pivot hole to accommodate the 1/4" ID socket.

    Brilliant design that saves the door

    They differ from the ones that were installed when I built my house. I was initially put off by the rubber foot that attaches to the door itself, as they are relatively unsightly compared to almost all the metal stoppers I have by now.
