I bought this set with the Farm Friends set for my daughter to play with and tell stories. she loves them She enjoys covering both hands with the animal doll and walking around the house making animal sounds. For Tiger she loves "meow meow" and makes him dance. These dolls are large enough to hold most adult hand sizes, making them comfortable to read while reading before bed. Like most Melissa and Doug stuff, the quality is really good and well made. If you want to wash them, I recommend a gentle cycle in cold water and air dry.
