Review on Xiaomi POCO Watch smartwatch, ivory by Adi Agung ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

I chose the watch for about three weeks. I paid a lot of attention to design. I wanted the form factor of a smart watch (rectangle), and not a fitness bracelet. For this reason, Mi Band 7 passed by. Mi band 7 pro is currently only the Chinese version, without the 2022 language, so I also passed by. Although in silver they seem to be nothing. Another important point was the size. Didn't want huge ones. I don't have a big hand. Autonomy was also important (so as not to charge every 2-3 days, or even more often). Poco watch arranged for everyone. They are quite compact and look good. Autonomy in my mode is about 10-11 days. There is an Always on Display function - when the display is constantly on. I turned it on, tested it, but then turned it off. With it, autonomy drops by half, but this is not so important. Rather, I did not like the appearance of an ever-burning clock. They are more pleasant when turned off. At the same time, there is no problem to see the time. When you turn your wrist, the display lights up. The function works well, even at medium sensitivity levels. The display is good and bright. The only thing I don't like is the display of notifications (I took a photo). The icon of the application from which the notification comes takes up almost a third of the screen. Because of what the text breaks less. Interestingly, if you view the notification separately from the notification curtain, the icon is compact there. And when it pops up on its own when alerted, it's huge. On the past Mi band 4 because of this, it seems that the text fit more. There are still not enough options for rendering the display. Of a total of about 60 pieces (of course, quite an amateur). At the same time, I like analog classical ones. But the most beautiful ones do not display important data for me (besides time) - this is the current date and the number of steps. Instead, they show the charge and pulse. I had to put another display, where at least there is data. There is a digital one, where everything is there, but I'm fed up with it. Too sloppy. On Mi band, of course, there are many times more displays. But overall I'm happy. Cool watch. Took for 4500

Pros
  • - Appearance (cool design, strict, not bulky, classic). - Price - Screen (high quality, bright) - Autonomy (10-13 days if without AOD and a bunch of extra monitoring) - Feature set - Moisture protection - There is a GPS - tested, works. - Detects your activity and offers to include a workout. - There are many sensors. Including monitoring of stress, oxygen in the blood. Disabled them for now. I don't see the need (especially stress) - You can control the music from the watch (which plays on the smartphone). It is convenient sometimes, so as not to flatter the phone once again or switch the video that you are listening to in the background. - Notifications come from the phone.
Cons
  • - Few straps (several sellers on Ali, they sell 6-7 standard bracelets, standard colors. You can’t compare with the choice of Apple Watche or Mi Band. In general). - Few displays to choose from (clock design) - apparently due to the fact that the clock is not very popular. - I do not like the layout of the text in notifications (little information fits) - There is a function to release the camera shutter for hours, but even on my Poco x3 pro (that is, like one ecosystem), it does not work. You cannot take a photo by pressing the button on the watch. Weird. He gave permission. Does not work. - In notifications there are icons not for all applications. Let's say mail mail is displayed simply as an SMS message, without its icon (example in the photo). Telegram and FB have their own icon. IG did not test (prohibited).
