Update 2019 - The lights still work great on my golf cart. I added this fixture to my golf cart having already installed a 20" Nilight LED. Aluminum wire makes the long life of the solder joints an issue, but I coated the solder joints with dielectric grease before shrinking them. Aluminum and copper don't mix well. My dielectric grease coated soldering is not recommended for critical components. Copper wires are usually of basic quality, but not with these inexpensive LEDs. This is a compromise the manufacturer made to save money. I used RTV clear silicone to seal the lens around the perimeter and tighten the screws. However, they do not sit direct rain. They are hidden under the golf cart canopy. They are as bright as I need them to be. I used a wire harness I already installed for 20" LED lights with a 40 amp relay. I simply connected the 12" LED wires to a weatherproof automotive connector. This 72 watt bulb only draws about 6 amps so it will connect to your existing wiring harness fine. View photos of the setup and use it in the dark. Please note that these lights do NOT come with a wiring harness, only a pair of long wires. You need to buy a wiring harness. I must say that these lanterns are real insect bait. You must maintain speed or the bugs will eat you alive. LAUGH OUT LOUD.
