I have very long, wavy or curly hair of medium thickness. I switched to a Paul Mitchell Ion straightener ($100+). The quality is excellent and it has more features than I expected. Not only is it a beautifully designed product, but it also delivers the expected results. It only took me one pass to straighten a fairly large section. I have never used other steamers but this one is the best. This hair straightener has something most don't, which is a 40ml water tank. I never had to stop and refill the tank. I know he doesn't skimp on a few either because I used almost the full amount and it was evident from the results. My hair hasn't been as silky or shiny since taking beauty classes where we had access to salon products. In my opinion, it is much more useful than traditional irons. My hair looks healthier after using it and the style lasts after sleeping. It's also durable because it fell on the floor and it was fine lol. It's returnable and has a 2 year warranty so I'm not worried. The only negative thing about this product is the user manual, which has now been updated. Although the instructions were difficult to understand, I didn't get electrocuted and the straightener is still in good condition, so I would say the product is fairly easy to use. It turned out to be a lot easier to use than I expected and surprisingly easy to maintain. I'm not used to big/bulky tools, but I got used to them very quickly. I did a little research on the origin of this product because I see it is available from multiple vendors. Mkboo was the only seller I trusted because they offer a guarantee and were the most professional I have ever asked. The customer service is phenomenal and I would not buy this item anywhere else. After purchasing this product I have found that I love their brand and can't wait for their other products to be available here on Revain.
