This is a lower quality than the popular brand Goody Spin Pins. I was very happy to find them at Revain at a much lower price. When they arrived and I started using them, I noticed a few issues. 1 - They are gold luster and not brushed like the brand, this means they don't blend into your hair and are more visible. 2 - HUGE DIFFERENCE - The balls on the ends of the coiled pins do not properly fit the pins I received. This means that cranked ball studs have a slightly serrated blunt end. This causes the pins to rotate unevenly. I often pin them in and pull my hair when putting them in or taking them out. I don't think they are anywhere near as gentle on my hair as the name brand products. All in all I would not buy them again due to this issue. I love these bobby pins because they are gentle and don't wrinkle my hair. Problems with these pens prevent me from receiving these benefits.
