This is a lower quality than the popular brand Goody Spin Pins. I was very happy to find them at Revain at a much lower price. When they arrived and I started using them, I noticed a few issues. 1 - They are gold luster and not brushed like the brand, this means they don't blend into your hair and are more visible. 2 - HUGE DIFFERENCE - The balls on the ends of the coiled pins do not properly fit the pins I received. Goodie hairpins are quite expensive so I ordered them in addition to a pair of Goodie hairpins (since I usually hide hair ties and other things in different places around my home and office). As other reviewers point out, the balls attached to the ends of the pins are uncoated, so they'll hook hair in and out, which isn't ideal.
