They are very easy to use and really keep the hair in place. My daughter dances and we use it when she competes. Your hair isn't going anywhere. Also, I revisited all the spiral bobby pins since not all are the same. I love that they are all one piece including the tips so they don't pull on your hair. In a word, it's AWESOME! If I had a negative it would be the colour. There was only black and gold. I bought gold for blonde hair but it's very shiny. You can only see the tip of the end, but it would be nice if they were brown. I'll order black to see if it's a little less noticeable.
