Smooth, light, elastic texture. Not sticky or messy. My 8 year old daughter and 10 year old son enjoyed playing with the oil slime without making a mess. (Also, we have a rule in our house: no slime or Play-Doh on carpets—never!) I was done with the slime (little beads, glitter) smeared all over the kitchen floor. So I am very satisfied with Sunool 3-Pack Butter Slime. Hooray, no impurities! Tight-fitting lids on containers keep slime fresh. The smells are ok but not overpowering. I would describe them as a subdued version of their labeled fragrances mixed with men's shaving gel. Charms are cute and add interest without making a mess. Individual plastic glasses are quite small, comparable to a 3-ounce cup of Dixie. However, I had no complaints from children about the crowd. And I don't mind paying a little more for a less quality product. I spent more time watching videos on how to mix, discarding faulty batches, getting the pieces off the kitchen table, and finally researching and buying slime. than an adult should.
