Review on Gorilla Grip Cleaning Gardening Organize by Lisa Norman

DO NOT use the anchors provided, they are for CONCRETE.

The instructions specifically state that the plastic anchors should be installed after the pilot holes have been drilled. They don't mention the type of wall you might have. I blindly followed the instructions even though I knew better. When I drilled the giant 19/64 pilot holes to match the included plastic anchors, I knew I was making a mistake. I'm a DIY enthusiast and I know how a concrete anchor compares to a drywall anchor. Despite my misgivings, I drilled 6 holes and inserted the dowels. After trying to wind up the product, I immediately realized I had made a huge mistake. They rotate endlessly and do not hold the product tightly to the wall. Even if you gently twist it as much as possible, once you attach a few mops and brooms, it will start to sag. The anchors were weak and the product doesn't hold up well. That's half accurate. The anchors are not weak, but they are designed for BETON and NOT for GYPSOKON. There are no drywall anchors included and the instructions make no mention of any wall type, so most consumers will be following the directions blindly, like I did, and wondering what the heck happens after all is said and done. Pretty disappointed with this Gorilla product. . I specifically bought this product instead of a cheap imitation, thinking I was getting quality. While the product looks really high quality with very strong springs, this installation error is a HUGE oversight on the part of the manufacturer. so that they fall into the cavity of the wall and do not try to catch them. This will damage the guide holes the least. You will definitely need to purchase drywall anchors from the hardware store to install this. In my case I need to buy these to match the pilot holes I drilled for the concrete anchors (19/64"), but if you haven't made this mistake you can certainly buy smaller drywall anchors to match the screws provided ... Finally, don't think about throwing the anchors out all the way and screwing directly into the drywall unless you're screwing in studs. Your drywall is probably 1/2" or 3/4" thick and the screws are... twice as long. inevitably break out once some weight is added. 1 star for incorrect instructions, incorrect anchors for most US homes which are drywall rather than concrete, and the time spent installing and removing, and for having to buy the right drywall anchors out of pocket.
