NOT sealed and NOT 8 oz, but good for a lot of things
They're not built for heavy use. You could hold light objects for crafts or paperclips. I made the mistake of buying them for my needs. I needed an 8 ounce container to store leftover food in the fridge. I put the salsa in one and kept it in the fridge door basket. cover tightly. It tipped over and the liquid from the salsa spilled onto the shelf and onto the bottom of everything else on the shelf. Also, they hold 6 ounces, not 8 ounces (I measured the water in a measuring cup). Recommended for simple storage of non-liquid items only. I keep them for other uses.
