Good soft even light. 10 brightness levels for each of the three modes - cool white, soft white and warm white - work very well. I use this to provide 'under the chin' lighting with my monitor camera as my overhead light is so bright it creates ugly shadows - the Dracula effect. With this light my face has a balanced light and the picture is much better. There are two types of holders. One allows you to turn the light up or down with a magnet (pictures). The other is a steel plate that you can attach anywhere and then position the light. Very good mounting options, which should also be able to cope with unusual mounting situations.
