Review on HOMFUL Ultralight Camping Chair With Storage Bag - Portable Backpacking Chair For Outdoor, Hiking, Picnic - Supports 300Lbs Capacity by Jayt Shields

Clever. Over-Priced.

I could see the asking price ($48.99 Ebay price at the time of both order and review) if the seat material was better and if the case had dual zippers/included carabiner. But as is, it's not worth more than $35-40.Having said that, this is a rather clever item. Goes together quite easily. Fairly comfortable, fairly sturdy. The frame is clever (using the shock cord idea found on tent poles) and the frame material seems like it will hold.I'm not as thrilled with the seat material. Seems rather flimsy and as such I'm not sure it will hold up like the I expect the frame to. Hoping I'm wrong, though, as I do like the idea and execution.Speaking of execution, the knobby feet won't hold up on the beach; you'll sink in. So perhaps the next iteration of this item could add some pads that attach to the knobby leg bottoms? (Especially considering the current asking price.) I'm going to come up with something of my own to fit the bill; something that is sturdy enough to work yet small enough to fit in the carry case.In the end, I hesitate to recommend this item at this point due to the price, but if you don't care about the price (or better yet, the price can come down $10-15), then have at it! Glad to have these "ultralight folding chairs" in the hand and will certainly use them. My wallet isn't quite as happy, though (yes, most Ebay Vine items are not actually free).4 stars.
