Review on Darn Tough Tactical 1/4 Light Sock: Unparalleled Durability for Tactical Performance by Javarie Brumfield

A great sock wins an ugly duckling prize!

Incorrect list. They have a huge logo. These are great socks that look ridiculously bad and are therefore not very comfortable to wear. The Darn Tough socks are my favorite and they just keep getting better so I hope they fix that soon. This sock height is perfect for yoga pants and cropped pants as they are low. They are solid black, so they go perfectly with almost everything. The thickness is warm yet thin enough to fit in all my shoes. However, one problem with Darn Tough is that the logo placement looks very cheesy. This particular sock model is epically bad, worse than any sock I've ever worn. Actually, I take it back. Hospital socks with an anti-slip coating on the back of the foot are slightly worse. 🙂 I usually have to switch to Smart Wool socks with dress shoes and flats to avoid the Darn Tough logo issue, but I can wear my favorite Darn Tough socks with boots and moccasins. Check out the picture to see how silly they look in moccasins! This model is for boots only and honestly I wish the sock was higher. I'm a New England girl and I know good socks and I think they're worth it. But they have to be portable. I can't wear them to work in a professional environment. You need fully closed shoes to hide the toe. Who wants something that looks like a prison ID or a part number on a dead body? Damn cool: you have the best socks. Stop sabotaging them!
