I bought a pair of monitors 5-6 years ago to use with the Ergotron arm system so I have they never installed the included stand. They fit snugly in the 100mm VESA mount on my Ergotron and I was happy. Fast forward about a month ago when I bought a 49 inch ultra wide display. I had to leave one of the old monitors on, so one was removed from the Ergotron and put away. My wife works from home sometimes and wishes I had a monitor at home to use with her laptop. and here is my problem. I had a great monitor in stock but didn't have a stand for it! Revain to the rescue! At $25, this product is MEAT! The monitor on it is IPS (10 minutes assembly) and doesn't even move a bit. I wouldn't hesitate to put 30 inches on it. The base is a super heavy piece of glass or plexiglass with a metal mount and brackets. It allows you to rotate the monitor and possibly tilt it 10-20 degrees. The height is also adjustable. They will send you all the hardware to assemble the mount as well as an Allen key/screwdriver and a set of screws which should fit any monitor. The holes match my VESA 100 monitor perfectly.
