Due to COVID the number of Zoom meetings I attend has increased dramatically. I've always had the problem that the light in my room illuminates the background well, but my face remains a silhouette. It's almost not even worth turning on my video camera because no one can see my face. So I tried this selfie light, and damn it. Doesn't matter! This is ideal as it was specially developed for video conferencing. It comes with a small tabletop tripod, but I personally found the clamp more convenient and stable. The clamp mount has pads to protect your screen should you choose to mount it there, and it mounts perfectly on the shelf above my desk. I like that it is USB powered. I don't need an extra outlet in the wall to power it, nor do I have to worry about charging the battery. I would recommend using a dedicated port on your computer or plugging it into a powered USB hub. Do not connect it to an unpowered USB hub. If you don't want to connect it to your computer, it also works well with a regular USB wall adapter. The light has a very intuitive controller built into the cord that allows you to adjust the color temperature, brightness and wattage. The highest brightness is pretty hard to see, so I'd recommend turning it down to the lowest setting. There's still plenty of light without blinding you. Overall I think this is a great product!
