Not best suited for external accessories

Not suitable for 2002 Toyota 4runner SR5. It will if you don't have an automatic antenna. Unfortunately I did. But delivered very quickly and looks pretty solid. But since I don't use it, I can't say anything bad.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some difficulties

nope Try again for antenna attachments

Although this is a sleek item, it does not match the description/regulation. Worse, you won't get the full price if you try to return an item, and with the additional shipping costs, you end up paying more for the return than you originally paid.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Excellent replacement antenna

This is the second antenna I have bought but not the fault of the product. Just because I gave someone my car and they took it away from me. They are very easy to install and you really just need to look at the details to install them. If it breaks again, I'll buy another one. The radio comes in with such clarity and never cuts out in low density areas. Good product. And much cheaper than at the dealer.

Easy installation, looks great!

Well my dumbass broke a nice little antenna off my 2007 Honda Element about 5 years ago while driving it into the garage with the door not fully open. Since then I've been trying to fix it. If I had known it would be as easy as this beautiful piece of carbon fiber, I could have made radio music 5 more years than I do now. Okay, that might not be the best endorsement, but the antenna looks great, works great and is easy to install.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged

Looks good but bad reception.

FLHX '08 - All Harley radios are basically the same. The antenna optimizes my scooter so I don't always shy away from the factory antenna, but the reception is poor at best. Anyone familiar with radio waves knows that a short antenna just won't give good reception no matter how it's built, a decent quarter wave is ideal for VHF. I use Bluetooth for city breaks and short trips, but when I go on a long tour where the radio is essential for weather and traffic, I put the stick mast back on.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Older Model

Will not fit my 1994 Ford Ranger or '94 Mazda B3000 which are basically the same. I bought a similar one for my 1997 Nissan D20 Hard Body King Cab and one of the threaded adapters worked like a charm. That's weird because that audition actually says it will NOT fit a 1997 Nissan D20. Hm? All the adapters I received had fine metric threads. Ford/Mazda trucks use a standard thread pitch, which is usually wider. Either way. Three outs. To return.

Useless and not as versatile as advertised.

Fitted on Ford Focus 07. I checked and it came up in the application list. The base of the antenna is concave and does not reach the threaded spigot on the base. However, there was a hairpin at the base that couldn't be removed. At first I didn't understand and tried to remove the bobby pin, breaking it. I took it apart for drilling and found that the bolt was part of the metal base. I was still able to drill enough to tap enough to get one of the included adapters. After going through all this

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • so far so good
