We have been using it for a few months now. Mostly sent via Skoon but when we need it for our camper I buy a bag from Amazon. We have a huge fluffy cat. He takes care of the garbage like it's his job. And he can pee a gallon at a time, too, and his poop is bigger than my dogs. So this material is being tested. We have tried several casts over the years. I really liked the cheap litter from Costco, but it's very poor at controlling odors. The size of the Skoons Pebble helps accurately with tracking. But it is not eliminated 100%. The transition was easy when we did everything right. We ended up ruining our first batch by mixing in old junk. Do not do that. Skoon recommends using 100% Skoon alongside the old filling. If you don't clean up the old junk, they just start trying skunks. That worked for us. Pros: Very light weight, less residue, no odor, easy to clean. Cons: Urine runs downstairs, not that big of a problem because it's closed, but you have to stir the rubbish. Our cat seems to poop right on it instead of burying it normally like with other litter. This can create a strong poop smell and has been a problem with our RV on a number of occasions. If you let this poop sit, they will dry out quickly as the skunk amazingly absorbs moisture. The only odor issue we had was the poop upstairs. And it seems to be temporary. And that's a normal compromise for us. It really lasts 1 month even for a huge cat. The scooping up is weird because instead of lumps, you're scooping out fecal mummies and stirring to make sure the liquid doesn't remain at the bottom. So far this is the best solution we've found. And we feel better because our sick dog comes in there sometimes and helps clean up. At least she's eating diatomaceous earth instead of some chemical cocktail. We use at home and travel in a 22ft RV.
