I always put screen protectors on my phones and tablets to keep the "glass" clean and scratch-free (yes, that's it). scratch and fade). I keep them LONG and want to keep them as close to new as possible. When I upgraded to an iPhone 6S, I got a JETech tempered glass. It was very easy to apply IF YOU TAKE VERY CAREFUL THAT THERE ARE NO DUST PARTICLES ON THE SCREEN BEFORE "STACKING" THE GLASS! JETech provides some sticky papers that I highly recommend using for this. It gets the finest dust (which you will see if you don't remove it). As many have pointed out, prepare a clean workspace and make sure your hands are free of grease and dirt. Aligning the screen is the tricky part (for me) and once that protective film is removed you need to be careful with the screen to ensure no dust gets on the sticky side before applying. The next hardest part is removing the "bubbles" - applying pressure with a small microfiber cloth and "pushing" them apart works, but requires little effort. Aside from that, they look amazing once on the tablet/phone! MUCH better than screen protectors I've used in the past. My iPad was 4 years old and removing the old plastic screen protector was very easy: it just peeled off. The display itself was in good condition and, to my surprise, not sticky. I didn't notice any degradation in sensitivity when using the touchscreen. I highly recommend these new generation "glass" protectors.
