UPDATE: First I gave this product a glowing review. Not so much this time. When I ordered another one, I received a hanging tunnel with fleece on the OUTSIDE only. It's only plastic in it and that's not so nice for my rats. They use it sometimes but always wore it if it had fleece inside. In cold weather this was a big disappointment. OLD REVIEW: This suspension tunnel turned out much better than expected. It has a nice material on the outside, fleece on the inside and waterproof material between the layers. It's pretty soft and can be washed. My rats like to use it as a tunnel between levels in their cage and also just hang out in it because it's comfortable and high. It looks like it will last a long time. Highly recommended. It has been six months since I bought this product. The rats gnawed through one of the straps, which I was able to replace by replacing it with a chain made from large paperclips. They took about two months. You have just started working on the inner fleece. I think a six month lifespan is respectable for this product. I will reorder now.
