This case is durable and probably protective. Slightly thicker than I wanted to fit in my purse. I will use it when I'm outside but not for everyday use. It has a plastic screen cover, including over the home button. I cut out the part above the home button and it worked much better. The plastic screen cover allows the touchscreen to function but looks odd compared to the nice glass covers I've bought in the past. A certain sense of flexibility. Probably a good buy for the money if you want decent drop protection etc.
