I needed a new sleeping bag for the coming Autumn/Winter as my son has outgrown his previous one. We have 2 light ones for the summer that still fit him but on colder nights we prefer to use the thicker version as it keeps him warm at night. We have a second bag and he also pees through the diaper at night sometimes so we keep two in case one goes bad (so we only have to wash once a week). This bag keeps him warm and that's why we don't turn on the heat at night (my son prefers heat around 65-68). It's a warm bag so I also don't want it to overheat at night when my wife and I are sleeping. We've been using this for a few weeks now and he's fine and sleeping. Please note that the size description is really accurate. My son is 90th percentile for height so we went up a size (24 months - 3T) as he is 20 months old; I think we could use it for 2 winters. Even though he's big, he still has room to grow. Therefore, if your child is not that big, I recommend going with something smaller.
