Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Inov-8 Men's Bare 210 Cross Trainer Athletic Shoes for Men by Leo Puente

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great shoes; should be tight.

So although I ticked "as expected" it's not really accurate; any other choice would be just as wrong, but also a reproach. Here's what I found: Minimalist barefoot runners should be comfortable, like a layer on your feet, not like a bulky cushion like regular running shoes. I was about to return them (and the people at inov8 were quick to reply with return material) when I thought I should do more research on how these types of shoes should fit. I'm glad I did. I have kept them and they are wonderful, comfortable (it just took me a little getting used to being snug - not to be confused with being too small) and durable. I've trained indoors in them and taken a few walks in them (my running days are over) and they've helped me not only in terms of comfort but also in my efforts to properly walk in shoes. There are many videos out there about how to walk in shoes (like we walk without shoes) and I would highly recommend watching such videos from a pro. When considering barefoot/minimalism shoes, you need to work on proper stride, gait, and posture at the same time, although it's definitely not required. I recommend the Inov-8 Men's Bare-XF 210 V2. . They are durable, comfortable and very useful to work on changing the way you walk and/or run to achieve a more natural step and posture that we adopt with bare feet.
