The Xyron product range is very good. I have been using the ezLaminator at work for many years. The idea of applying glue, laminate and even a magnetic backing is awesome. Everyone likes! However, this review is specific to the Zyron 624632 Creative Station. This is said to be an improvement over the previous Creative Station 900. The smaller footprint and the ability to use two different cartridge sizes (9" and 5") are great ideas. However, the actual implementation of this new model leaves a lot to be desired: the whole body and the handle (which can be folded for storage) feel a bit flimsy (you have to put a hand on the device to keep it steady while cranking.) - The feed doesn't seem to hook the object you're trying to feed through (sometimes it will click as the gears slip, especially with a magnetic laminate cartridge.) - as it requires one hand to crank and the other to stabilize the device has no more hand to stabilize the feed. Therefore, your item may fail and become wrinkled. (This has happened to me several times and I was pissed as hell because my printed paper, while thin, wasn't cheap to print on). I hope the Xyron engineers read this. Please fix it!
