Like other Mob Armor phone mounts, this mount is shaped like a tank. It's a solid piece of metal with a rubber coating to protect things, and there's nothing to break. The holder should be versatile and here I would like to improve it a bit. With the power of the magnet, you really have to tilt the device one way or the other to take it off easily. Not a problem with phone mounts, but when that means the belt clip attaches it to the radio, you often lean up, but instead of releasing the magnet, the belt clip just pops open. I'm willing, if you do this often enough the clip will just break. Remember to always tilt it down to remove your gold as well. Because it's versatile, you can move the radio around a little on the mount even with the belt clip in the hole. This can be corrected with a softer wipe on the inside or some sort of vertical clamp stabilization. After all the whining, I want to make it clear that I love the product and would recommend it to people. I have used it in my cars and will continue to do so, but there is little room for improvement.
