You almost get what you pay for
It doesn't look like a tab is missing, however, the bottom panel just sort of flaps open. Top panel somehow manages to make the screen seem heavier (i.e--set the laptop down while open and the screen just tilts back.)Steer clear of the screen protector. Can't say if I used it wrong (no instructions) but it appears to be two-ply, so when you decide to take it off because of air bubbles the bottom layer stays on (which has the remainder of the air bubbles).
