Used You-Tube to find out how to repair (fix) Honda and Acura rear heater/AC fan not working problem. The YouTube website gave a part number on Revain ($15 and 2 days later) and received the resistor as per the YouTube instructions. 20 minutes later the blower works perfectly. It's been over a week now. My wife and daughter use this car 2 or 3 times a day. Our local mechanic AND our Acura dealer put this repair at over $400, AMAZING how crooked auto service technicians can be. And WE let them get away with it. This is copied from the Acura dealer parts website: 2003 Acura MDX. Fan Motor Resistor - Rear - RU-364 Standard Motor Products. $103.43 Resistance only, no instructions. watch for $170 an hour plus tax, an environmental fee for recycling an old resistor (which can be held in one hand). Please note that Acura dealers charge a $100 fee to diagnose ANY problem prior to repair.
