Review on 🚭 Smoke Buddy 0159-BLU Personal Air Filter: Stay Smoke-Free with Blue Efficiency by Peter Barrera

Must blow hard - air purifier

I usually smoke at home or in the office. My old smoke removal setup was to take a rectangular piece of plexiglass and cut a hole in it to fit my small 6" desk fan and use it as a window fan. I have one in my office and one at home. It works, but it still fills the room with the smell of burnt tobacco. I just got a smoking buddy and decided to smoke for 2 hours. I had a Gurkha 7x52 cigar. Here are the pros and cons: PROS: - light weight - small size - eliminates most of the burnt tobacco smell - comes with caps. I believe it will start to smell after repeated use, the caps keep the odors. CONS: - You have to use your face to close the smoke buddy tightly or the smoke will come out. - You must blow hard, as if trying to inflate an air mattress with your lungs. I got really dizzy after exhaling through the Smoke Buddy a few times, not even 1/3 of the way into my smoke, and I got really tired of blowing on the Buddy so hard it filtered out all the smoke. - The filter cannot be replaced. Once it's clogged, you'll have to buy a new one. Thing the company needs to improve: - Have an o-ring/seal at the end of the exhale ie where you place your mouth at the end - Have a looser pack of filter material, could be a thicker pack but not like this Fixed - Replace Since the product requires replacement cartridges, I'd rather have small filter packs than $20 cigarettes in a row. ======= Overall worth buying for the price. I'll still use my fan setup because the smoker doesn't care about all the smoke and the occasional leak because I'm not pressing my face against it. Breathing through this thing is really annoying and I stopped using it halfway through my 7 inch cigar together. My head was spinning not from the nicotine but from the smoke filter. This works, but requires some adjustments.
