Easy installation. It took about 15 minutes. The shim is on the minimal side and I ended up messing around with this part of the setup more than I thought I had to. Add some dielectric to the connector, remove two screws, pull out the old one, put on the seal and install the new one, tighten the two screws evenly and firmly to install the seal, DONE. The light on the plate is nice and bright. The transparent top lets in a lot of light. The flash is clearly visible in daylight according to DOT requirements. I'm glad I bought this item. Make me a little more visible. A+++
