First of all I'm new. I'm not chasing wins and photo prizes. I only take photos of family life, church life and social media management. However, I have had a Canon Rebel for a number of years and it is fine. But in most cases not much different than my smartphone. This lens drives me crazy! It's so easy to capture high-resolution footage and keep it clean, crisp and sharp at virtually any distance. The 18-200mm range is pretty much ideal for any general shot a beginner needs to capture.
