Although I thought the handle would be longer, I left it and decided it was worth it as the materials (suction part and handle) were very strong and looked strong. The parts are definitely made of good, durable material, but the top plastic part of the handle broke off easily, and yesterday the stick (handle) came loose from the suction base. The two pieces screw together but I think the threads are wrong because I could easily put the handle back in without screwing it in.
