Can't handle high I/O speeds

I didn't have high expectations (very low cost) but I didn't face huge I/O latencies and averaging 5-10MB at 100- MB peaks calculated if I'm lucky. My consumer SSDs run at 40MB on average. I wasn't expecting my system to hang with disk I/O delays.
