Review on 🎒 SwissGear Scansmart Laptop Backpack: Sleek and Practical Black/Black Design, 19-Inch by Nancy Knudsen

At first I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this package because of the negative reviews about the quality of the flash. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find that all the zips were very large and the quality was excellent. This backpack is large with more than enough space for my laptop, tablet, books and other small items. I really wanted to leave a positive review for this pack but unfortunately there were a few issues that threw the deal off. Unfortunately, the zipper on my backpack broke. What happened was the stitching came out of the seam around the zipper, caught on the teeth and eventually the zipper teeth broke within a few weeks of owning the backpack. I didn't realize how serious this was until one day while I was standing in a crowded conference room, at that moment one of the zippers broke and my laptop fell out and fell to the floor behind me. Luckily my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is well built and has a good case so it wasn't hurt but would have been fried without the case. Second, Swiss Gear's service was completely absent. I contacted her because it was clearly a defect in her backpack, which was only a few months old. I get no response other than a very large email filled with all sorts of legal stuff about their liability and accountability. No personal reply, no replies as I responded with photos of the damage and a clear explanation of what broke where. I am more than disappointed with Swiss Gear in many ways. I have several Camelbak backpacks, some are already 15-20 years old and this backpack will not even last half a year. It's one thing when products fail, but the lack of customer support when products fail is the deciding factor for me. I will never buy anything from Swiss Gear again.
