Lots of TIGHT elastic all across the instep
Pros: So nice to be able to wear on the gym floor or even out to the car, and not have to change shoes. Lots of air holes for venting on top. Mess uppers make it comfortable. It is nice to have the SPD clip already installed on the shoe.Cons: Extremely tight. Impossible to wear if you have even a moderate instep. The tongue is rubber and is attached so you can't adjust it. Then, on top of that, there is another elastic strap across the top that cuts your circulation off after 10 minutes. Otherwise, I would have kept them.

- The Velcro straps may wear out quickly and require frequent replacement
