I used these to replace a keyboard slide that fell apart after a year of use (abuse) by my kids. Gliding is smooth and the slides feel solid and well built. The slides come without instructions, but you can download the basic slide layout from the Shop Fox website (search by model number). Although not mentioned on this website, each slide is 3/8" deep. If necessary, dial the depth of the slide so that the lateral fit is slightly loose - I used cardboard packing shims to ensure a proper fit .Please note that each slide has a plastic clip to detach the slide from the case Easy Installation You can access it by fully extending the slider.
