This hose is well made and worth the money. The only downside is that by design it is more difficult to flush than some other hoses. be extended a little. By running flushing water through them, you will most likely clean most of the inside of the hose. To do the same with Valterra, it must be stretched to its full 15-foot length, which can be tricky to manage. If it is not removed, washed sewage can get into the "folds". From a practical point of view this wasn't a problem for us - no smell - but we ship Valtera in sections of 5" PVC fence. completely open at both ends, with a steel pin at each end to secure the hose. This allows the air to circulate freely. Had it been worn in a more typical sewer hose holder, closed at both ends, it might have been a different story. IMO, here it's worth spending a little more to get decent quality.
