I have purchased (2) of these lights (as shown). One had similar issues, in the sense that it appeared in a package right out of the gate. It went off when I pushed the button. They fit perfectly on a mount that I also bought from Revain. The lights seem pretty bright. Brighter than other lamps I've bought. I don't plan to use it for our deep dives, but I plan to use it for reef dives to depths of 60 feet and beyond. I won't be able to test them underwater for several months. I'll try to come back here and post pictures (good or bad) showing the quality of the lighting and any issues or positives I might come across. As long as I'm happy Also, these lights use batteries like my little camera, so I don't have to carry multiple chargers with me.
