Not very suitable for diving. Took this for a Key Largo dive and turned it on at about 35ft. It worked fine. When I tried to turn it off, it wouldn't turn off. Back on the boat I got the battery out, made sure the cabin was dry and charged it. Turned it back on on the 2nd dive and everything was fine until I tried turning it off.
