I bought these walkie talkies to use with my kids when they are playing outside at the neighbor's or when they are walking .5 miles in the park. They were fine, 6 houses from neighbors, but rarely worked in the park. Too many obstacles in between. You are not easy to change attitudes. Volume control and channel switching is not easy. Multiple button presses are required to access various settings. Changing channels and volume should be easy. The biggest problem was that they turned themselves off. If I put the device down after a call, it turns off. I put it in my pocket, it turns off. And I don't hit the power button. When working correctly, you need to hold them down for a few seconds. Don't buy this. I come back.
