My wife bought a very unique Murphy table and bed combo with the bed mattress about 30 inches off the floor. That height definitely calls for some sort of step stool to help you get into the chair. Well packaged with all parts and instructions. Assembly was easy and the product looks great. The issue I have with this step stool has to do with safety. center) could tip over, resulting in a serious fall and/or injury. Keep in mind that not everyone has cat reflexes. The fault lies in the design of the height and width, not in the material, not in the workmanship and not in the end of the custom assembly. I didn't want to return this product because it fits so well on the table/bed so I screwed two boards to the underside of this step stool protruding about 3 inches from the left and right sides to give it the stability it needed . I also used wood glue with screws to make this product safe and durable. I doubt it will ever be necessary to take it apart. In general, the step stool gets 3-4 points for concept and looks. It's 0-1 that it's a safe product for beginners or those who aren't watching their steps.
