It's not like CVS or Walgreens. They are abrasive so you don't have to scrub for hours. Just brush a little a day to get rid of calluses. I have one and gave it away. For those who have actually used it, they absolutely love it. My sister's husband used it on his hands. He had very hard calluses and now his hands are smooth. Don't wait until your heels crack to take care of your feet. This is a cheap and great way to get rough stains. The ones at Walgreens/CVS are very soft compared to volcanic rock.
